Michelle Underwood’s NEW DigiKit & Card Patterns Challenge

Happy Birthday

CIMG2188

For my inspiration I used the Card Patterns Sketch #50 and will enter it in their  weekly challenge  HERE. There are so many fun elements in this DigiKit by Michelle Underwood called Beautiful Ending. Many of the papers are perfect for masculine cards and this particular card is for my son’s 18th Birthday. I hope he doesn’t mind the bird I just wanted to make something different. I embossed the balloons with Faded Jeans distress ink and clear embossing powder. I Colored the bird with Copic markers and added some white pen detail on one of the balloons.
Hero Arts Stamps: CL381 Wonderful Birthday (balloons), CG155 Hugs and Kisses Bird, Ranger Distress Ink: Walnut & Faded Jeans

So Glad....

Hero Arts Stamps CL417 called Huge Hugs (sentiment)

This card is from the same DigiKit and I just love this frame and I LOVE the papers I used in this card!! I distressed all the elements with Ranger Walnut distress ink and applied Glossy Accents to the frame after I cut it out. This was very difficult for me to stop with out adding an image or ribbon etc. I just felt leaving it alone was best in the end. Off to shovel and take some pics of how deep our snow is. Have a great day! Hugs,Kathy
