Owl Money Holder

Owl Money Holder

inside the "pocket"

CIMG1789

I created these cards for the HERO ARTS CHALLENGE called “Cards that give”. Every year I give money to my nephews and usually end up wrapping their money in a cereal box and taping it to the bottom or something silly. This challenge helped me step out of my box and create something a little more creative. I wanted to use this New DigiKit called Wrap it Up Christmas Papers By Shimelle Laine HERE came just in time for me. I needed some masculine paper to create my money holders for my 18 year old nephews. I cut out the eye so you can see the money and was careful to place my foam strips so that the folded money had enough space to fit within the card. The stamp is from Hero Arts called Big Owl K5059.
Also shown a digi kit from Jen Martakis (see the orange grid one)called This Year Here . This kit had just right color of orange that I was looking for and the I love the grid patterns available in this kit. I hope everyone has an awesome Holiday!
Hugs,Kathy
