Midnight Mall Madness on Thanksgiving

European Snowman

CIMG1516

This Thanksgiving my DD and DN decided to hit the midnight madness at the mall … Yes at midnight on Thanksgiving. I couldn’t get over how crowded it was and how long the lines were. Thirty minutes at Starbucks, 45 minutes at Old Navy and over an hour at Urban Outfitters. We did this mostly for the experience and it certainly was that!! We arrived home at 6 am and I’m still recovering. I bought two items. Here is a photo from my phone…I couldn’t get over how destroyed Urban Outfitters was from the crowds. The first time the girls went in the store there was physically no space to move. Next year we will venture out at 5am instead. If you celebrate Thanksgiving I hope it was  a special one. I know I have so much to be grateful for. Have a great weekend. Oh..almost forgot this snowman was inspired by a European santa I saw at the mall.
I stamped the snowman in Hero Arts Shadow ink Pool and colored Copics & dotted with white pen. For the boarder I highlighted my coloring with a Gelly Roll Metalllic Pen.

What a wonderful card. And amazing to go shopping at that time. I’ve never done anything like that… I HATE all sales. And I hate messy shops 🙂 I can only shop in quiet, calm neatness. (Unlike when i am crafting!!!) What a great story.

What a wonderful snowman, definately a Kathy special. I love the sales but can’t imagine going at that time, there is only one shop in the UK that opens early for sales day and thats “Next” a clothes shop. It opens at 5a.m. but I love my bed too much to go at that time!!

fabulous card – love the patterned paper 🙂 Om-goodness that was one crazy shopping trip. I went to Target today (their black friday sale was spread over two days) and found EVERYTHING I wanted was NOT on sale – I would not have been a happy camper if I did the 5am thing for nothing *lol*
