Hello Dear Friends

CIMG1291

My daughter is pretty tough on me and is a good judge of the cards that will fly or not so that’s why I didn’t enter this last week. I must say she did NOT like this one at all and went on to say it looks like one of my earlier postings from the beginning…nice right? Well I added some trees and the row of gems so maybe she’ll like a bit more? It fit today’s colors on the Hero Arts blog perfectly so here it is. Be easy on me and you may be sick of seeing this santa? He’s so versatile though. Have a great weekend!
Hugs,kathy

I must say, it is not my favorite either. Love the colors, flourish, tree, buttons and bow. I guess it must be that santa. It’s just not the cutest one I’ve ever seen. He may be versatile, but in my opinion, he kinda looks like he has breasts! LOL! Sorry. Just an opinion. Other than the santa, I love the card!

    Hi Kathy,

I agree with Alice don’t be so hard on yourself. Each piece we do is what it is. Some are better than others & what we think is blah someone else will think it’s the best thing since sliced bread. The only persons opion you have to worry about is yours.

On that note I like the card & can only wish I had a fifth of your talent :D. Take care & hugs xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I thought I’m the only one that has a daughter with an opinion…Stephanie can be VERY hard on me, too! If my cards get her approval (which is almost as good as getting a HA prize, then I know it’s appealing to people of HER age. BUT with that said, do I listen to her? Of course NOT! I do like this card as it is so different from your MASTERPIECE. I don’t think this Satna is all that versatile….YOU ARE!!!!!!!

I think this is a great, non-traditional Christmas card. Excellent idea to popup the Christmas tree and the Santa is…interesting….;-) Your coloring is wonderful and you have a nice eye for design – don’t be so hard on yourself!
