Embellish Magazing Color Challenge with Owls

Say no more with the nudging of Virginia I realized I just had to submit something for this challenge at Embellish Magazine.
I started with my EK Success scallop punch and punched many strips of paper. I distressed with Ranger’s Shabby Shutters and Vintage Photo. I stamped Hero Arts cling Flourish Background (#CG119) with Shabby Shutters ink on the green center body. To shape the body of the owl I used the photo provided as my guide. I Cut ovals in various sizes with my Cuttlebug and once I assembled them I drew the brown background. So easy. For the feet I started with triangles and cut claws and added Glossy Accents ( also used GA on the eyes) . I cut a leftover scallop and flipped it and cut into strips for the eye lashes. Without the claws the owl measures 5×5. I always appreciate you stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend! Hugs, Kathy
