Just Saying Hello

I have a card to share with you. This week the challenge at Hero Arts is to create something that is inspired by anything on the heroarts.com….you will find some amazing inspiration there. My card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. Click on the link to see her beautiful card.

Here are the details for mine. I used the scattered leaves set from HA (CL298)For the flower I stamped 5 leaves on dotted paper from Papertrey Ink. I embossed the leaves in clear embossing powder then I distressed them with “Worn Lipstick” by Ranger. I stamped another leaf on green paper and embossed it the same way. For the green leaf I pluged in my iron and put two paper towels on top of my leaf and pressed the iron for a 40 seconds or so. The embossing lifts off and then you are able to ink a message on the surface.(all occasion CL272) After stamping my leaf I used “Glossy Accents” to dot the dots. For the yellow boarder I used the design block flowers (S5025) and embossed in white. The background stamping is from the scattered leaves set…I used clear embossing powder. Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Thanks for looking 🙂
