Hero Arts is giving away many prizes next week with many exciting things happening so check it out. I created this for the challenge this week. This travel keepsake journal’s design was inspired by Claudine Hellmuth.

The book is from 7 gypsies & pp is Basic Grey. We will be traveling up the coast so I have waves and sand in the background. I used HA dots & flowers and dot flourish boarder. The arms and legs are stamps from Claudine’s stamp set. I made clothes from BG papers. The bird & butterfly are from HA. For the suitcases I printed the destinations on checked paper from Amuse and cut rectangles and rounded the corners, stamped, distressed. For the handles I used the Cuttlebug tag. For the inside I jused Antique lined Ranger ink & dried marigold. Some of the stamping inside is from HA travel set (wood stamps 2008 but, there isn’t a number)

Kath – this is sooo cute. I love the little travel tags showing where you are going. Your pieced together self is really adorable. Love the little holes in the skirt stem showing your knees! too cute. What a great idea and challenge submission. I am working on an 8×8 album of my last trip.
