Hello friends. Welcome to Day 13 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Did you know that today is World Kindness Day!? What better way to celebrate than with a Blog Hop supporting the Caring Hearts Card Drive…
In case you’re unfamiliar with the Caring Hearts Card Drive, here is some information:
The purpose of this card drive is to collect handmade holiday cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes around the world. Since 2010 we have been bringing joy to many nursing homes throughout the US, Canada and Australia. And this year, we are branching out to the UK! What better way to share our love of card making than to bring joy to others, right? We hope you’ll join us in supporting the card drive. Details for the card drive can be found at: Vera Yates Blog & Jennifer McGuire’s Blog
What a beautiful and admirable thing for Vera and Jennifer to do. Changing lives one card at a time is a great example to our children and they inspire me to be better person.
Creating this card was fun and a bit of a journey. Loosely painted watercolor stripes were the primary focus of my card paired with this absolutely gorgeous sentiment. The embossing powder is so sparkly with so many facets…. Love that it’s so festive.
Next stop on the Blog Hop is the oh so talented, Amy Lee. You can start at the beginning of the hop HERE.
No hop is complete without fun giveaway, right? Simon Says Stamp has generously offering $150 gift card for this hop. Woo Hoo! All you need to do is visit and leave comment on each blog. Winner will be randomly selected from one of the participant blog. You have till midnight Thurday, 11/17/2016 to leave comment. Winner will be announced on Vera’s blog on Friday, 11/18/2016.
I hope you can join us and create a card for this amazing cause and thanks for stopping by. Have a great day. Hugs, Kathy
